By Plane:
There are many scheduled and chartered flights to the airport in
Iraklion. If you tell me ahead of time when you will arrive, I can
arrange to have a friendly taxi driver wait in the airport for you
with a sign with your name on it. He can then drive you to my apartments
(the fare is around 40 euros).
Or I can arrange a to have a hire car of your choice ready for you
at the airport, where you be met by a helpful representative who
will settle the formalities quickly and take you to your car.
By Car:
Ferries sail daily from Athens to Iraklion. The voyage is eleven
hours long and it is fun and relaxing. From Iraklion, it is a one
hour drive to Kamilari.
